Winter Skincare!

Spring has sprung, the clocks going forward and the cherry blossom flowering. For skincare this season we can start to think about switching up our routine.

1 – Cleanser

One thing I have learnt over the years, is that it is worth investing in two types of cleansers. An everyday facial cleansing wash and a two in one treatment type cleanser. The Cleansing Melt from Neal’s Yard Remedies is an intensely moisturising cleanser. This is a super treat for the skin. Step one as a cleansing gel which melts into a conditioning oil and step 2 add some warm water to transform the oil into a creamy milk and remove with a warm facial mitt.

2 – Eyes

Lots of us forget about the eyes which is one of the most important areas of the face. Revive and smooth the eye area with products containing hyaluronic acid. Wild rose eye brightener contains this ingredient. This ingredient will instantly smooth and plump around the eyes. Sunglasses are key to maintain and protect the delicate area.

3 – Moisturiser

Spring is a time when we should look at switching to a lighter one. Regularly exfoliation helps the moisturiser to sink into the skin. Rose daily moisture from Neal’s Yard Remedies is perfect for this time of year. A little really goes a long way.

4 – Walking

Having a short walk everyday can help reduce stress levels, improves your wellbeing and enhances cognitive function. Plus increasing your heart health and strengthening bones. Exercise gets everything moving in turn will help boost your largest organ – the skin!

5 – Feet

Would you run away if I said for you to take off your footwear now and show me your feet?! Most (from experience) would. Being on our feet for most of the day they need as much attention as our face. Be brave get those tootsies out and give them a treat. Step one give them a scrub. You could use some ingredients from the kitchen…… Sea salt or sugar mixed with some oil apply to dry skin.
